Welcome to V-Lions.org (Cyber Lions Club)
Lions Clubs International endorses the concept of "Cyber Lions Clubs"; LCI-Cyber Lions Club endorsement
This website arose from a belief that there is a need for Lions to broaden the "Lions Experience" to include individuals who want to contribute to their communities and fellow man but, either by personal choice, work responsibilities or other reasons, are not able or willing to commit to ongoing, regularly scheduled Lions Club meetings.
As members of a traditional clubs, this website's co-developers, Lions Bill Keller and Greg Halley, became concerned with the number of club members who were leaving their Lions clubs due to issues arising with outside interests that conflicted with a culture of "You can only be a good Lion if you attend traditional meetings." Bottom line, as envisioned by this website's creators, a successful V-Lions program will result in a Lions structure where V-Lions and "Traditional Lions" will co-exist as "equals" and each is respected and rewarded for their contribution to Lions/community service projects.
